Top 5 Food and Drink Apps in Turkey Q3 2023 Performance

In the third quarter of 2023, the food and drink app market in Turkey displayed varying performance trends across the top five applications. Here are the key insights based on Sensor Tower data.

Yemeksepeti: Food & Grocery saw a consistent increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 142K in the week of August 28. The app's active users fluctuated, starting at 3.1M in late June and experiencing a dip to around 2.2M in early September before rising again to 2.5M by the end of the quarter.

Tıkla Gelsin® - Online Yemek maintained steady weekly download numbers, with a notable spike to about 91K in mid-September. Active users showed a gradual upward trend, beginning at 278K in late June and culminating at 329K by the end of September.

Algida ile Kazan experienced a significant decline in weekly downloads, starting at 96K in late June and dropping sharply to just over 8K by the end of September. Active users also saw a downward trend, from 300K in late June to approximately 199K by the end of the quarter.

Domino's Pizza Türkiye had relatively stable weekly downloads, hovering around 60K for most of the quarter. Active users remained consistent, starting at 247K in late June and maintaining similar levels around 246K towards the end of September.

McDonald’s - Non-US downloads saw a downward trend, beginning at 67K in late June and decreasing to about 27K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 444K and finishing the quarter at approximately 344K.
